Asparagus

Whenever we had asparagus with dinner, my grandmother would send me to the garden to cut them off the stalks, being sure to leave behind enough of the stalk so it would continue to produce more asparagus for years to come.

Do be mindful where you plant the roots can go up to 15’ deep. These are super easy to start and raise from seed. It will take a while but it is a whole bunch of free plants.
